Problem

A brick manufacturing facility required an upgraded dosing and feeding system to operate beneath a low-clearance mezzanine while feeding materials from three FIBCs into multiple production processes. The challenge was to achieve precise, repeatable dosing without compromising performance or reliability in the restricted installation space.

ModQuip Solution

In collaboration with Inquip, ModQuip supplied a key component of the dosing system, the Loss-in-Weight Feeder, providing highly accurate and continuous feeding for critical material transfer processes.

Integrated into the overall plant design, ModQuip’s Loss-in-Weight Feeder ensured precise control of material flow to dedicated processing sections, helping maintain consistent dosing rates and product quality. The complete system also incorporated dense phase transfer, screw feeding and screw conveying technologies to accommodate varying material characteristics and production requirements, while fitting within the restricted mezzanine layout.
